Hedskolan is a pleasant F-6 school and adapted primary school with about 500 students, located in a residential area close to the center. The proximity to both the forest and ski trails is significant and is frequently used by students and teachers in teaching and during breaks. The work teams are organized by stage and grade level, with close collaboration around all our students. The atmosphere is characterized by openness and curiosity towards new ways of working. Job Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you are responsible for supporting students during the school day based on the individually established goals and plans. You assist and provide care to the student in the activities that take place both in school and during leisure time in close collaboration with educators and the student's guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education or other training that the employer considers equivalent. As a person, you should be positive, have a present and attentive approach to students' various needs. You create engagement and participation, are a clear leader, and have good collaboration skills. You are also flexible, independent, responsible, and have an easy time taking your own initiatives. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

A criminal record extract is required.

Working Hours/Duration
